To use a taxonomy within your account, you must first add and activate it.
To create a taxonomy, simply go to your account settings.
Select the “Taxonomies” tab. Once inside, click the “Create a new taxonomy” button to configure its settings.
If you want to have the DORA taxonomy already active in your account, please read this dedicated guide.

When creating a variable, you can edit its properties so that it aligns with the requirements you need.

You can also define one or more variables as a “Definition”, meaning they will have a predefined default value that is recalled every time the same variable is used.
Once you have finished filling in all the information, you can either save the taxonomy and keep it deactivated, or publish it using the three dots at the top right, so that it becomes available for use in your contracts (here a guide).
